The League is an American comedy series created by Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer. It premiered on the FX Network on October 29, 2009 and concluded its first season on December 10, 2009.[1] A second season began airing on September 16, 2010 and concluded with a double-episode on December 9, 2010.
As of December 22, 2011[update], 32 episodes of The League have aired, concluding the third season.

The League was renewed for a 13-episode fourth season on December 13, 2011, which is set to premiere in Fall 2012.[29]
